Here are some of our most favorite products and recommendations.

Flea and stick Prevention - We used to recommend the Seresto flea collars but in light of the recent pet deaths and illnesses related to them, we have stopped using them. We currently use NexGard. We now recommend talking to your vet to get their opinion. Every dog is different and has their own individual needs and your vet will know what’s best for them.

Jolly Flyer (Frisbees) - Ruby would tell you if you don’t buy anything else, to buy a frisbee. It’s her all time favorite toy and a good way to burn energy. If your dog has a higher energy level we highly recommend picking up a couple flying disc toys.

Eye and Ear Scissors - We do all of our own grooming here at Amos and Oak Doodles, I know that’s not possible for everyone, but having a small pair of scissors on hand to trim around your dogs eyes and ears can be so helpful between groomings!

Slow Feed Bowl - if you’ve noticed that your dog likes to gulf down there food like it’s their last meal on earth, you might want to give this slow feed bowl a try. It keeps them occupied longer at meal time and also helps them with digestion!

Slicker Brush and Greyhound Comb - These are the two most used items in our household! Using the slicker brush first helps remove mats and knots and then going through the entire coat with the greyhound comb will give your doodle/poodle that final fluff.

John Paul Pet Shampoo or Burt’s bees Oatmeal Shampoo - I really can’t explain why I love these products so much, I just do! My dogs smell incredible and their coats are so soft after using either of these shampoos.

Playology Encapsiscent - These boredom busters are a product I couldn’t live without. They’re great for when your dog has to spend time in their kennel or for just keeping them occupied while you get things done around the house. They smell like chicken and are extremely durable, even for hardcore chewers.

Snuggle Puppy - The snuggle puppy was designed with crate training a new puppy in mind. It has a heartbeat and a pouch for heat packs. The Snuggle Puppy makes your puppy more comfortable by giving them a “companion” to cuddle with. If you are purchasing one of our asusiedoodles and also want the snuggle puppy we can rub the snuggle puppy on our mama dog to bring extra comfort to your new baby.

Halti front Lead No Pull Harness - This harness is magic! I can’t praise it enough. It gently discourages your dog from pulling by squeezing their sides whenever they start to pull, prompting them to slow down. It’s a must have for dog who enjoy dragging their owners around. Regular collars and harnesses work great too, especially if you train your puppy from the beginning to walk properly with them

Train-Me Training Rewards - These are hands down our most favorite training treats. We use them with all of our dogs and puppies. They come in three flavors - Beef, bacon, and chicken. They extremely soft which make it super easy for puppies to eat quickly during training.

Travel Water Bottle - if you are an active person who plans on taking your fur baby on walks and hikes, we recommend this travel water bottle with bowl for your pet to drink from when you are away from home. Convenient to carry and use!
